The short version

We're Chris and Shelley, a two-person vacation rental business. We collect a small amount of information to market our two homes and stay in touch with guests. We don't sell your information to anyone.

What we collect on this website

This site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, a common analytics and advertising tool. It uses cookies to tell us, in aggregate, how visitors found the site and which pages they viewed, and it may be used to show our ads to past visitors on Facebook and Instagram. It does not give us your name or contact details.

You can limit this kind of advertising through your Facebook ad preferences, industry opt-outs like aboutads.info, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser. The site works fine either way.

What we collect at our properties

Our homes offer guest WiFi. When you connect, the sign-in page may ask for your name, email address, and (optionally) mobile number. We only use the contact details you choose to give us, and only for the marketing you opt in to — occasional emails, and text messages if you check that box — such as rebooking offers and seasonal availability. We store this information ourselves; every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is instant and final.

For everyone's security, the exteriors of our properties have security cameras (disclosed in our listings). There are no cameras inside the homes.

What we don't handle

Bookings and payments happen on Airbnb and Carolina Mornings, under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your payment details.
